Comprehensive Sexuality Education will be infused within the school curriculum across the subjects from Academic year-2022. It will be implemented as a pilot phase in three schools; Tang Central School(Bumthang), Samcholing Central School (Trongsa) and Khomshar Primary school (Zhemgang).

On April 25, 2022, all the teachers and few supporting staffs of Tang Central School were oriented on the new curricula by the officials from UNFPA and Education Ministry.

School management would like to thank UNFPA Office and Education Ministry for choosing our school for this program.

Teacher professional development is any type of continuing education effort for educators. It's one way teachers can improve their skills and, in turn, boost student outcomes. So we invited Ashi Kuenzang Choden, the Executive Director of Ogyen Choling Trust Fund in our school to conduct professional development programs.

For today's professional development, Ashi highlighted on the following areas:
1. History of Schooling system in Bhutan,
2. Journey of modern education system in Bhutan,
3. Quality of Education,
4. Importance of Educating children,
5. Importance of reading and writing habits,
6. Qualitative research for professional growth,
7. Process of writing and publishing books, etc.

Along with ED of Ogyencholing Trust Fund, we have invited Geog Thrizin to our school to share his views and observations on the school. So he highlighted on the importance of teacher development programs, performance of the students and the supports that he is going to render from geog administration to school.

Ashi had been a passionate writer and she wrote/published many books and we are fortunate to receive few copies of the books written by her which will benefits our readers as the books will be made available in the school library. School management will be always looking forward to have such programs in future too.

We are happy to welcome our new family members.

Ms. Sonam Choden joined our school as a science teacher upon completing her studies from Thailand. We are looking forward for your supports and contributions towards STEM subjects and school too.

Ms. Sangay Choden and Ms. Sonam Peldon has chosen our school and joined our family to take up their teaching practice here. We are looking forward for their fruitful stay here and wish they will never regret for choosing Tang Central School to practice the real classroom teachings.

Tang Central School family formally bid farewell to Lop Dorji Wangchuk on April 17, 2022. Lop Dorji served here at Tang as a language teacher for more than two years. He is one of the energetic member of Dzongkha depertment and school team too.

Personal growth and professional development require mostly being treated like an adult, which is pretty much the opposite of what happens in most workplaces.

People need to be able to make decisions. To do that effectively, they need information and training in how to use it.
