To present this exemplary Chiwog under Goenshari Gewog. People of Zhelngosa chiwog comes together every year for clearing the bushes along their Farm road which starts from Recheyna and ends at three ends(namely -Balana, Chuphaka and Shedrupling Goenpa) and cleaning of their only bailey bridge located below Recheyna Forest office. CEP has been so effective and has brought major changes in the community. All those gratitude and credit goes to JICA and our parent Department(Department of Local Governance and Disaster) for bringing the project and initiating it at the grassroot level. Thank you people of Zhelngosa for making us proud.

Thank you Bhutan Tiger Center( Department of Forests and Park Services) for the big support to the public of Goenshari Gewog la. The Gewog Administration is happy to announce that the Gewog has received the amount of Nu.1.0Million as seed money for the conservation of Tiger. We pledge to work effectively and put in our efforts in dealing with livestock depredation and Human-Tiger conflict emergency cases. Moreover, we would like to thank those beneficiaries who understood the benefits and participated in this insurance schemes.Unlike before, we now have a quick response team in each chiwog with involvement of forestry officials and livestock which would enhance the work done within a very short period of time. Looking forward to successful results. The annual meet for this Gewog Tiger Conservation Tshogpa will be held as soon as the paddy cultivation works are complete. Handing taking:
Zhelngosa khatoey and khamed irrigation channel maintenance. The irrigation channel and RWSS source for khamed has been badly damaged by a flash flood above Balana farm road which happened around October last year. It has affected around 60% of the household of Zhelngosa chiwog. The Gewog Administration tried our best and came forward with the maintenance of this irrigation canal which was lost to disaster. Actually, the khamoed irrigation canal has been an exemplary to everyone in the Gewog regarding to it's quality, which was built very long time back. Here also, we got talented youth community contract group led by a graduate.
