The Department of Employment & Entrepreneurship, (DoEE), Ministry of Industry, Commerce, & Employment (MoICE) and the Loden Foundation are thrilled to open applications for our Spring 2026 cohort! This year, we are offering a blended financing package, combining interest-free loans with a non-repayable derisking fund in collaboration with the Department of Employment and Entrepreneurship (DoEE).

Supported by the Bronwen and Brian Mills Education Trust, we now have a dedicated funding window specifically for women entrepreneurs. This includes specialized start-up capital and international mentoring through the Cherie Blair Foundation for Women.

โ€ข ๐Ÿ“Š ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ง๐œ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ƒ๐จ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: Operational businesses are required to submit audited books of accounts or financial statements for the preceding two years.
โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ธ ๐’๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ: Applicants are strongly encouraged to include photographs of their establishment, recommendation letters, and pro forma invoices to enhance the strength of their submission.

This is to kindly inform that the Startup Centre, Samtse, DoEE is planning to organize 2-days Financial Literacy Training targeting Startups, local Entrepreneurs and small-scale business around Samtse Dzongkhag.

The training will be delivered by the Financial Institutions Training Institute (FITI). The training is tentatively schedule from 8th โ€“ 9th December 2025.

We would like to kindly invite interested individuals to register for the training. During the training, the working lunch and refreshments will be provided for all participants.

The class 12 students from Phuentsholing Higher Secondary School was on a study tour to the Startup Centre, where they engaged in an interactive session with the Startup management team and practicing entrepreneurs. During the visit, few practicing entrepreneurs shared their inspiring journeys and experiences in entrepreneurship. The session proved to be insightful and motivating, as the young learners displayed great enthusiasm, curiosity, and genuine interest in becoming future entrepreneurs.
