Celebrating a Historic Achievement

On 12th February 2026, Lungtenphu Middle Secondary School proudly celebrated the outstanding achievement of Kuenzang Choden, who secured 2nd position nationally in the BCSE Examination 2025. This remarkable accomplishment marks a historic milestone, as it is the first time the school has achieved such a prestigious national ranking.
To honor her success, a special felicitation ceremony was organized in the school. A simple cake-cutting ceremony was held, followed by a speech from the Principal congratulating Kuenzang Choden on her hard work, dedication, and perseverance. The Principal stated that her achievement has brought immense pride to the school and the entire community.
Teachers and staff applauded her success and described her as a true inspiration and role model for all students. As a token of appreciation, the school presented her with a khadar and a memento.
In her speech, Kuenzang Choden expressed her heartfelt gratitude to her teachers, parents, and friends for their constant support and encouragement.
The achievement of Kuenzang Choden has created a new milestone in the history of Lungtenphu Middle Secondary School and has inspired the entire school community to aim higher and strive for excellence.

The staff gathered at Simtokha Dzong today morning to offer prayers as part of the beginning of the new academic year 2026. The staff later gathered in the school and a general staff meeting was conducted. The day ends with the committee meetings to discuss on the plans to be presented in the following days. The school also extended warm welcome to the new vice principal, other staff and the TP teachers.

The school observes Global Hand Washing Day to promote hand washing among children.

The school declares the Results of the 3rd Quarterly Tests.
The toppers were awarded badges and congratulated for the achievements.
The school also observes the World Mental Health Day to create awareness among the staff,parents and the students.
The observation of the mental health day also marks the end of the Anti-bullying Week.

The school awards certificates to the Academic Toppers of the Mid Term Examination. The school also conducts the first Parent-Teacher Meeting of the second term with very important agendas covering both academic and non academic matters.
The school administration also takes the opportunity of thanking the parents and the RBA Headquarters for all the supports provided during the entire term.
The program ends with the declaration of individual results of the students by respective class teachers.
