On May 10th, RTC Rovers, in collaboration with Better You Club, organized a short hike to Wangditse. The trail, passing through serene pine and oak forests, provided participants with stunning panoramic views of Thimphu valley, including notable landmarks such as Tashichho Dzong and Buddha Dordenma.

This excursion offered an excellent opportunity to rejuvenate the mind, foster camaraderie, and appreciate the natural beauty surrounding the city. The event was well-received by all participants, who valued the peaceful environment and the chance to connect with nature. We look forward to organizing more such enriching outdoor activities in the future.

On April 2, 2025, Royal Thimphu College and Jigme Dorji Wangchuck National Referral Hospital (JDWNRH) collaborated successfully for the 30th Blood Donation Campaign.
"Giving blood is a gift that saves lives," we extend sincere thanks to rovers, students, staff, and faculty for their generous support.
Your contribution matters greatly. Led by the Royal Thimphu College Rover Scouts and student leaders, the day-long event exemplified unity for a noble cause.
Together, we made a significant impact in providing life-saving blood donations, highlighting the power of community-driven initiatives in making a positive difference in the lives of those in need.

On 16th March 2025, the RTC ROVERS club successfully conducted a community service activity at the Jangsa Animal Shelter. Our team worked diligently to clean and maintain the shelter, ensuring a safer and more comfortable environment for the animals.

This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to making a positive impact in our community. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute and extend our support to the shelter's efforts. A special thank you to all the volunteers who participated and made this event a success.

The RTC Rovers Club successfully conducted our first event of the semester, which included a formal Scarf Awarding Ceremony followed by an insightful presentation by Rover Ngawang Lhendup. The presentation provided a comprehensive overview of his participation in the BIMSTEC – Youth-Led Action on Climate Change initiative, held at Vishwa Yuvak Kendra, New Delhi, from 20-24 February, 2025.

This significant program focuses on empowering youth across the BIMSTEC region to take proactive leadership roles in addressing the urgent challenges posed by climate change. Through collaborative efforts and innovative solutions, the initiative aims to foster youth-led actions that contribute to sustainable environmental practices and climate resilience.
