5 days into the year and we step into a new season carrying the weight of our people and the hope of what is possible.

This is not a reset, it’s a continuation. A continuation of the work, the conversations, the organising, and the commitment to protect lives and amplify voices that are too often ignored. This is not a fresh start that erases the past. It is a continuation of the work we have all been doing with our communities, our young people, and every voice that has trusted us with their truth. We move with the understanding that awareness alone is not enough. Our people deserve protection. They deserve accountability. They deserve action.

This season, we recommit ourselves to showing up, at the kgotla, in classrooms, in conversations that are uncomfortable but necessary.
