Our CEO, Mr Gaokgakala Daniel Lemmenyane, joined creatives at the BOMU Awards to celebrate local talent, creativity and excellence, while also presenting the Best Producer award.

The evening brought together creatives and industry stakeholders to recognise and celebrate the remarkable talent and achievements within the creative sector.

Last week Friday, 28 August, we joined Bonnita in celebrating creativity and young talent at the β€œCollect, Create & Win” Prize-Giving Ceremony. Our Creative and Cultural Sector Coordinator Officer, Malebogo Kgatlwane, represented the National Arts Council of Botswana as a judge for the Bonnita β€œCollect, Create & Win” Sculpture Project.

Congratulations to all participating schools and winners for showcasing incredible imagination, innovation and artistic expression.

Our Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gaokgakala Daniel Lemmenyane, was the Guest of Honour at the Botswana Consumer Fair 2026 Prize Awarding Ceremony, held under the theme β€œShowcasing Botswana in Full Colour.”

In his address, Mr. Lemmenyane celebrated the resilience, innovation and commitment of exhibitors, entrepreneurs and businesses, while highlighting the growing connection between creativity and business.

He noted that β€œcreativity is business” and emphasised the growing contribution of the creative economy to employment, innovation and national identity.

As the Fair celebrated its winners, the CEO reminded them that recognition is not the finish line, but a challenge to continue improving, innovating and raising the standard of excellence.
