TOWNSHIP ROLLERS TO RELEASE EXPENSIVE PLAYERS IN JANUARY

For the past three months Township Rollers had difficulties to pay their players well on time.The month of October Some of the unused players this season got pay cut salaries.From a reliable source in the camp of Rollers said they are having private meetings everyday to try and solve the situation. He said there is a division in the management to come up with a one solution but the majority think the best solution is to release expensive players in January to save costs.

ROLLERS PLAYERS BOYCOTT TRAINING

Township Rollers players boycotted training for the past two days over unpaid salaries and bonuses. They have vowed to make a return to training as soon as their salaries have been paid.

"It's unfortunate that there has not been any communication from the President or Executive Committee. We are just here with (Motshegetsi) Mafa and we really feel sorry for him because he can't give us answers. We also feel sorry for our supporters because they don't know what is happening to our team. It's getting worse by the day," said one player who preferred to remain anonymous.

According to sources, Rollers Executive Committee will have an emergency meeting today to discuss the current financial situation of the club. "It's true that we are meeting today. We need to map a way forward. If it means releasing some of the high earners at the club, let it be," said our insider at Rollers.

MORUPULE WANDERERS SUSPEND GENERAL MANAGER

Morupule Wanderers have suspended their General Manager, Kitso Maswena with immediate effect.

This was confirmed by the club's communications manager Thabo Rapula on Tuesday afternoon. "It is true he is on suspension but unfortunately we cannot divulge the details since the matter is still fresh. It is an internal matter and the club is carrying out investigations. We hope to have finalized the issue in the next 14 days," said Rapula.
