โ€œCHOOSE LIFEโ€™โ€™

This morning, Gantsi Primary Hospital held a morning prayer session as part of the National Month of Prayer Against HIV/AIDS, Non-Communicable Diseases, Gender Based Violence and Road Traffic Accidents under the theme LET THERE BE LIFE derived from John 10:10.

The session opened with the verse of the day, Deuteronomy 30:10, setting the tone for reflection, prayer and a renewed commitment to protecting and promoting life.

Speaking at the session, Psychiatric Nurse Mr kamogelo Molelo emphasised key messages on road safety, prevention of gender-based violence, healthy lifestyles,HIV prevention and management.

Road traffic accidents continue to claim lives and cause disabilities. Motorists were urged to ensure that vehicles are roadworthy, refrain from drinking and driving, and avoid driving when experiencing intense or mixed emotions.

Victims of abuse were encouraged to choose life and seek help. Mr Molelo emphasised that staying in an abusive relationship can have serious and potentially fatal consequences.
The public was encouraged to adopt to healthy lifestyles to prevent and manage non-communicable diseases.

The message on HIV was practise safe s*x and for people living with HIV to adhere to antiretroviral treatment (ARVs) to maintain good health and prevent transmission.

The prayer session served as a reminder that protecting life is a shared responsibility. Let us make choices that promote healthier, safer and stronger communities.
