Who are the Caborca Cartel?

The Caborca Cartel is allegedly run by notorious 1980s Guadalajara Cartel member Rafael Caro Quintero. The Caborca Cartel is the main criminal organisation in Sonora. The cartel's precise size remains unknown, yet its main focus lies in drug transportation. They make sure that the transportation of drugs from other countries through Mexico and into the United States of America is successful.

"It is also involved in other criminal activities such as kidnapping, extortion, and arms trafficking. The group operates primarily in the region around Caborca, which is a city located in the northwestern part of Sonora, near the border with the United States."

So the question is: what were the seven members of this deadly cartel doing in Belize? They were here to kill a known drug figure. That particular drug figure had served time in a Chetumal prison in 2013 with another Belizean after they were busted with millions of dollars worth of crystal m**h. The case against them fell apart, and they were sent back to Belize.

The men who were arrested in Corozal claim they are "road consultants".

Teen Murdered in Belize City
Fifteen-year-old Nigel Ferguson was found murdered last night in an abandoned house on Hunter’s Lane in Belize City. Investigators observed cut wounds on his throat. According to the police, Ferguson left home at around 5 o’clock that evening.
Police are investigating.

**Family dispute leads to murder**

A man killed his son-in-law last night in Guinea Grass Village, Orange Walk. According to police, around 8:30, 19-year-old Jael Darrel Jimenez, his wife, and family members were socializing when an argument ensued between him and one of his wife’s relatives. Moments after, Jimenez’s father-in-law, Derrick Bull, entered the home with a firearm and shot Jimenez in the body. The father of one was rushed to the Northern Regional Hospital and pronounced dead. Police investigations continue. ///

has confirmed that there was a murder in Ladyville, Belize minutes ago.

The victim was shot multiple times near the football field.

The victim has been identified as James Bainton.
