Two-Year Report Card: Town of Antigonish Council

Over the past two years, Council has made significant progress on key infrastructure projects that support the growth, safety, and long-term sustainability of our community.

* West Street: Project completed.
* East End of Main Street: Project completed, improving infrastructure and supporting future development.
* Sewage Treatment Plant: Upgrades and repairs are underway to strengthen our wastewater infrastructure.
* Water Supply: Two new source water wells are ready to move into production, helping strengthen the Town’s water supply and prepare for future needs.
* Accessible sidewalk (AT) St Ninians St.
* Grid modernization, electrical substation should be powered up next week.

These projects represent important investments in Antigonish’s infrastructure and future. Council recognizes that much of this work takes time, planning, and significant financial resources, but it is essential to maintaining reliable services and preparing our community for continued growth.
