Last summer, Atlin SAR installed new radio frequencies on Atlin Mountain. This was also the opportunity to do some routine maintenance on the comshell, installing new batteries and adding an APRS node.

A huge thank you to YARA (Yukon Amateur Radio Amateur Association) and to Discovery Helicopters who donated their time and expertise for this project. Shout out to the helping ASAR volunteers!

ASAR now has dedicated operational frequencies in the Atlin area, with a greatly improved range! Go Atlin! :-)
