Thai Valley Restaurant, located in the town of Petawawa, is a wonderful gem for traditional Thai food. It has become one of our favourites, as everything is fresh, perfectly seasoned, and portions are easily shareable. We are obsessed with the pad thai- with a little kick! And the fresh rolls with peanut sauce. (I may put that deliciousness on everything!). The menu offers noodle and rice dishes with vegetable and protein forward additions. The vibes inside are very welcoming and relaxed; with the staff being friendly and accommodating.

, located in Bancroft On, is hands down the best Fish & Chip restaurant just outside the county. It's a special treat for us and never disappoints. The menu changes depending on seasonal fish, and we've tried many! The Halibut is fabulous 👌 as well as the Pickerel. We tried the coconut shrimp this time and is now a must! The portions are perfect. Everything is fresh and seasoned wonderfully. They offer youngster meals or small bites, too. The owners are engaging, funny, accommodating, and truly love what they do. Outside seating is also available where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery while enjoying a beautiful meal. -WORTH THE ROADTRIP!
