Today candidates received this reminder that assistance from campaigns or candidates to voters is not permitted.

Myself and my team have not helped anyone cast their votes this election. In fact we have helped bring voters to the voting center and we have directed hundreds of people without PINs or issues to the voting center this entire voting period.

There has been several concerns voiced and witnessed regarding voting influence in the presence of candidates or members of their campaign teams. I hope the Town's Elections team addresses these issues and if there is merit to the concerns those Votes should be Voided and discounted from the total votes and noted.

I have gone around to most addresses 3 times these last 145 days. I will earn votes by doing the work, through my platform, through my advocacy work and speaking to people and not have to do it by breaking voting guidelines. I hope and trust other candidates have done the same.

I look forward to responses by the town elections department to see if anything will come from these concerns raised.

If anyone needs assistance please make your way to the Library - Zima Room Saturday and Monday
10am - 4pm / 10am-8pm

Thank you for all who voted so far 🗳🙏

NICKOLAS HARPER DOUBLES DOWN - WE NEED TURF FIELDS & MORE RECREATIONAL FACILITIES FOR OUR YOUTH...

I want to thank Bradford Wolves Soccer Club for inviting me out to speak with over hundreds of parents tonight and listen to their wants and needs to help grow and develop our youth, not just in soccer, but every sport.

Our youth need this investment and opportunity to thrive, grow and become the next generation of leaders for our community and country. Where jobs are so scarce these days for our youth, giving them a purpose in sport will help guide them through life to be successful.

I am Nickolas Harper and I will build Bradford’s first Turf fields by Next Spring if elected. These have already been funded that does not land on the tax base and we should have already had these amenities for everyone built a long time ago.

FINAL Voting day is October 26th and polls close at 8pm. Vote appropriately for your family, your children and their needs.

Nothing Changes Unless You Make That Change Happen for Our Home Our Bradford.

Thank you 🇨🇦⚽️🏟

**SPECIAL INFRASTRUCTURE ANNOUNCEMENT**

OUR YOUTH - OUR BRADFORD

PARENTS KEEP TELLING ME THE SAME THING!!!

Their kids have the talent. The town does not have the fields! That is why I put turf fields on the table earlier this summer and why the plan to build them still holds.

No new tax bill to build them. Just a clear path so Bradford athletes can train here, play here, and climb into OPDL and League One without packing a bag every weekend.

Soccer is only the start. Baseball, hockey, basketball, volleyball, track and more. Every club needs more ice time, more diamonds, more lights, more hours, more pool time. When kids can stay in town, they spend here, volunteer here, and bring their friends here. That is real economic value sitting on unused evenings and unused weekends.

This is our Bradford. This is our Home. Ambition should not have to leave BWG to find a proper pitch, court, pool, or sand to play on.

Voting opens October 16th.

Which sport is your household fighting for space right now?

Drop it below and let’s make the next four years about the facilities that actually match the kids we already have.

When our young athletes succeed, Bradford Succeeds!!

Your vote and choice matters, I'm ready to deliver. Vote Nickolas Harper for your next Mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

I will see you at the polls Bradford.

**FINANCIAL SAVINGS POLICY ANNOUNCEMENT**
CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR - NICKOLAS HARPER

The roughly $99 million Civic Centre was forced through this term. I voted against it, not because I didn't think we needed this building but because I believe there was a better way to pay for it. Residents are still on the hook for the debt behind it, with payments running for annual tax increases for 20 years.

Today I am announcing a Financial Savings Policy for that project. My team and I have found a lawful way to bring those payment costs down for every residence carrying this decision.

As mayor, I will bring that plan forward so the relief shows up in household budgets for the next 20 years. Not a press release. Real dollars.

Looking ahead is not a speech. It is digging into the books, finding where services residents already pay for can be delivered for less, and treating every tax dollar with care.

New leadership means the people living here now come first. Bradford cannot afford to keep doing things the same way, we are already paying the price from past leadership and it's time we took a different direction. A direction that puts you First.

This is our Bradford. This is our home. To get these savings and new leadership we need to all vote starting October 16th. We are days away from the polls opening and this election is going to make a difference.

Vote Nickolas Harper for your next Mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury this election.

**FINANCIAL SAVINGS ANNOUNCEMENT** NICKOLAS HARPER - CANDIDATE FOR MAYOR IN BRADFORD WEST GWILLIMBURY

We’ve heard the talk about protecting Bradford’s legacy and small town feel for years. Nothing has been done for the seniors who created it or the small town feel. Until now.

I am reminded of witnessing this about a lovely senior couple who had been living here over 35 years and then suddenly one of them passed away. Now every bill and tax payment sits on their shoulders alone. Seniors on Fixed income. Rising taxes due to growth in the town and the cost of living. The home they built is slipping away or being priced out due to rising tax hikes.

The cost of growth is too much burden on any senior on a fixed income. This is happening to all seniors here in Bradford.

That is why I am announcing today a Seniors Tax Hike Deferral Program; If you are 65 or older, have lived here more than fifteen years, and own your home, you can opt in to a senior tax hike deferral.

So you never face another tax increase while you live here the rest of your life, with the amount only collected when the home is sold. It is your choice and it does not shift the cost onto others.

This is how we save Bradford’s small town feel, one action at a time. I don’t just say it. I will do it.

New ideas, new leadership from lived experiences. I want to be your Mayor that puts the people living here now first, and that includes respecting seniors.

This is the style of leadership I am offering.
Vote Nickolas Harper for mayor. Our Home. Our Bradford.

SAFE SCHOOLS AREA BYLAW - Safety for our kids is not optional.

I helped deliver the largest traffic safety improvements in Bradford history in just three years. That work protected neighborhoods, roads, parks, and over a dozen schools.

Mr. Leduc used strong mayor powers to shut that committee down.

As your next mayor I will restore the Traffic Community and Safety Committee and add two public seats so residents sit alongside the four councillors.

I will creat a motion that requires every school zone receives the required safety mitigations under a new Safe Schools Area bylaw.

Families in older parts of town, including Bondhead, still wait for the same level of care while paying the same taxes.

We will continue delivering safety throughout all of the Town including the older parts being the focus for the next 4 years. Streets like Maplegrove, Collings, Colborne, Miller Park, Northgate, Fletcher, Gardiner, Professor Day and many more.
We will also tackle issues like e-bikes on our streets and ensure the policies match the action.

Let's make Bradford a better and safer place for everyone to live.

Vote started October 16. This is our Bradford. This is our home. Your voice matters and I'm ready to deliver. Meet you at the polls Bradford.

Finally the mayor surfaces to square the narrative. But this time we all know the record.
Where’s he been this whole time? Just like four years ago, Mr. Leduc is trying to manipulate the facts. But this time, he has a real contender to deal with that won't back from his play.

His video says he barely used strong mayor powers. The record says otherwise. He threatened to force the Line 6 bylaw through after council voted it down. He overrode the hiring committee on senior staff appointments. He refused to hand the powers back when council asked and Mr. Sandhu voted with him all the way. I will give Mr. Sandhu the one time he voted in favor with council when we asked to delegate hiring back to council, but Mr. Leduc still rejected that request by council a month later.

There is knowledge of Mr. Leduc abusing these powers, using them as threats and compromising staff decision making on policies that should never be broken. That is overreach, not leadership.

Those powers let one person act without a real majority. Residents elect a full council for a reason.

I will return the strong mayor powers so decisions stay with the council you elected.

Enough of the spin. Time for leadership that puts Bradford first, and I am ready to stand up and deliver for the people living here now.

Advanced voting started October 16. It's tie we rebuilt trust and moved forward in a different direction.

My name is Nickolas Harper and I want to be your next mayor of Bradford West Gwillimbury.

Your voice matters to me, and I am ready to deliver for Our Home, Our Bradford.
