If you're in the mood for a good book, chances are one of the Township's three library branches has hours to suit your schedule. New Elizabethtown-Kitley Township Public Library
Located at 4103 County Road 29 (former Spring Valley Hall beside the OPP Station),
Spring Valley

Monday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon and 1:00 p.m. Wednesday 4:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m

Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Lyn Branch
This branch is located in the Village of Lyn at 14 Main West with an entrance off Main Street. New Hours

Tuesday 12:00 p.m. Friday 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Toledo Branch
Located at 424 County Rd 29, this branch of the library is attached to the Township's Satellite office in Toledo. New Hours

Monday 1:00 p.m. Thursday 1:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Lending Policy
Library books and internet access are available without charge to all Township residents. Fiction, non-fiction, books on tape, magazines and videos are offered at all branches of the library. Library materials may be borrowed in accordance with the following circulation policy

Circulation Policy
Materials may be used in the libraries free of charge. Borrowers are requested to inform the libraries of any change of address, telephone number, etc. Loan Period is for 21 days with the following exception: Videos may be borrowed for 1 week. Picture of books
Library materials will ordinarily be loaded for a period of 3 weeks. Renewals may be made for a period of 3 weeks provided no reserve has been placed on the material. Renewals may be made on the telephone. There is a reduced loan period of 2 weeks for very popular new published titles. Borrowing Limitations:
º Non-fiction: 2 books on a subject per card.
º Talking books: per card
º Periodicals: 4 per card. Lost Materials: Must be replaces with like material or pay replacement cost. Reference materials are usually available for in-library consultation only. However, special loan of these materials may be made at the discretion of the librarian on duty. Interlibrary Loans. Books obtained on interlibrary loan are available for the period specified by the
lending library.

🌻 September is almost here at the Elizabethtown-Kitley Public Library! 📚

We have lots happening this month, including our regular library programs and some exciting events!

🎨 Adult Art Afternoon — Join us at our Lyn Branch on September 15 from 1:00–3:00 PM for an afternoon of creativity! Registration is required.

📖 NEW! Preschool Story Time begins September 21 at our Kitley Branch! Join us every Monday from 10:00–11:00 AM.

🧶 SAVE THE DATE! Our Beginner Crochet Class is coming to the Kitley Branch on October 1 from 5:30–7:00 PM. Registration is required, so stay tuned for more details!

We would like to send a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and helped make our Annual Car Show such a wonderful day! We truly appreciate everyone who joined us and supported the library.

A special thank you to our local Fire Department, Therapy Dogs, and all of our wonderful vendors who came out and helped make the day extra special.

🚗 Our Car Show is Still ON! 🚗

Join us tomorrow from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for a great day of classic cars, a BBQ, vendors, face painting, and our bake sale!

We’ve been keeping a close eye on the forecast, and at this time the show is going ahead as planned. We’ll continue to monitor the weather, but we’re looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow!

🍪 Bake Sale Reminder: If you’re able to help by donating a baked treat, we’d be incredibly grateful! Every donation helps make our fundraiser a success.

The countdown is on! Join us on Saturday, August 8, from 9:00 AM–2:00 PM for the Elizabethtown-Kitley Public Library’s Annual Car Show.

Enjoy a day filled with classic vehicles, a BBQ, vendors, a book sale, bake sale, door prizes, car awards, and a 50/50 draw.

🚘 $10 per show car
👨‍👩‍👧 Free admission for spectators

🍪 Can You Help Our Bake Table? 🍰

We’re looking for volunteers who would be willing to donate baked goods for our bake sale. If you’d like to contribute, we’d love to hear from you! Please send us a message or contact the library.

Our library branches have been full of laughter and creative exploration this summer! We are jumping in to all things water. Only two more weeks to enjoy stories, songs, and a chance to create something fun!
