After some reflection, I’ve decided to step back from this page.

I created this Squamish Nation Candidate page as a way to stay connected, listen, and engage with our Nation during an important time. I’m grateful for everyone who followed along, shared their thoughts, attended assemblies, and participated in the conversations that matter to our people.

At this time, I’m shifting my focus toward the rapidly growing opportunities in the private sector, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, and will be letting this page go.

I want to sincerely wish the Squamish Nation continued strength and success, and to extend my best wishes to the newly elected Council as they begin their term. Leadership carries great responsibility, and I hope this next chapter brings positive progress for our members, families, and future generations.

Thank you to everyone who took the time to engage and be part of this journey.
Wishing you continued success in the path ahead.

With strength and purpose.

Sḵw̱x̱wú7mesh community, I just want to take a moment to reflect on our General Annual Assembly / People’s Assembly.

There was a lot of important information shared, many strong voices, and many real concerns brought forward. I appreciate everyone who showed up, spoke up, listened, and stood together for the future of our Nation.

I want to give a heartfelt thank you to all the staff, organizers, movers, seconders, Elders, presenters, and community members who helped make this event possible. These gatherings take a huge amount of work behind the scenes, and your effort did not go unnoticed.

As we move forward, I’m hopeful our people are engaged, passionate, and pushing for accountability, transparency, housing, equity, safety, Elders care, off-reserve support, and long-term planning. These conversations are not always easy, but they are necessary and they are how good change begins.
I look forward to the progress ahead and to continuing these discussions with all of our people.

Let’s keep working together for a stronger, safer, healthier future for our Nation.

For the strength of our people.
