As a Genie Senior Services transition team, we meet wonderful people every day. We have the privilege of helping them transition to a new chapter of life.
Today’s couple were so very special.
Meet 92 year-old Dan and 87-year-old Natalie. Husband and wife for 70 years.
Natalie requires a little more hands-on help and has been living at Garrison - Care West for several months
A suite recently came available across the parking lot at Garrison Green so her husband could move to the same complex.
They are now steps away from each other rather than kilometres away from each other.
He still calls her beautiful…
She still calls him her Prince charming.
He is looking at her in this picture with the eyes of a newlywed.
They shared so much of their lifelong love story with me today. What a truly wonderful couple. It was as such a privilege working with them and their family.
Wishing them a wonderful next chapter in their new community of Garrison Green.
The love story continues…🧡🧡

Today finds our Genie Team at Atria Arbour Lake working for another lovely senior.
I just had to share their stunning planters!
Upon arrival, it looks like walking into a resort.
And their beautiful dining room is just huge!
What a lovely community.

Today, Team Genie Calgary North had the pleasure of helping transition another wonderful senior into her next chapter at the beautiful Scenic Grand retirement community. I just love the Stampede decorations at The Scenic Grand!
The painted windows are such a Calgary classic.
Several of the western artefacts actually belong to some of the residents.

While completing a move in, my Genie team was treated to a delicious piece of cake by Angie Caton, lifestyle consultant at The Edgemont.

Thinking about my own Dad today. Bruce Lee. Yes… I am the daughter of Bruce Lee. Just not the famous one. Although he passed far too young and has been gone for 32 years, I think of him practically every day. My siblings and I quote him regularly and smile.

Fathers have a huge impact on the children they raise. I am so lucky to be able to serve so many great dads as a Genie Senior Services Franchise Partner.

Happy Father’s Day to all of the wonderful dads out there!

Today we celebrate the fathers and grandfathers who have spent a lifetime leading, supporting, teaching, and loving their families.

Thank you for the wisdom you’ve shared, the sacrifices you’ve made, and the legacies you’ve built.
