Indians in YYC Society – 3rd Volunteers Appreciation & Networking Meet

A heartfelt thank you to all our dedicated volunteers who joined us for the 3rd Volunteers Appreciation & Networking Meet. 🙏

Our volunteers are the backbone of every successful community initiative, and this gathering was an opportunity to recognize their hard work, commitment, and passion for serving the community.

It was wonderful to connect, share experiences, build new friendships, and celebrate the spirit of volunteerism that makes our organization stronger every year.

Today, members of Indians in YYC and Isha Foundation came together to discuss and plan our upcoming International Yoga Day Celebration on June 21, 2026, in Calgary.

It was a productive meeting filled with ideas, collaboration, and a shared vision to bring a meaningful and impactful FREE community event to Calgary residents. We are excited to promote health, wellness, mindfulness, and unity through the practice of yoga.

Indians in YYC was glad to participate in this meaningful event organized by South Asian Social Justice Summit in Calgary

Glad to meet and have meaningful conversations with Clare Smart - Superintendent of Calgary Police & Asif Rashid - Deputy Chief of Calgary Police, our dear friend Amber Kurashi, and MLA Parmeet Singh Boparai Ji along with many other respected community members and leaders.

The event focused on unity, inclusion, awareness, and community empowerment. It was inspiring to connect with community leaders, organizations, law enforcement representatives, and passionate individuals working towards building a stronger and more inclusive society for everyone.

Wonderful to see the community coming together for such an important conversation at the South Asian Social Justice Summit in Calgary.

Thank you to the organizers, volunteers, speakers, and all attendees for creating such a positive platform for dialogue and collaboration. Together, we continue building bridges across communities and celebrating the strength of diversity in Calgary. 🇨🇦🇮🇳
