You’re invited to join us for an upcoming information session about the new Workforce Advisory Committee being formed under Alberta Employment Connect.
We know some of the most valuable insight comes from people with firsthand experience navigating employment related challenges. This committee is intended to create space for those voices, perspectives, and lived experiences to help shape how employment support is designed, delivered, and improved over time.
We’re looking to connect with individuals who have navigated barriers to employment, supported others facing barriers to employment, or have personal or professional experience supporting individuals through employment related challenges.

• 2:00–3:00 p.m. MST
• Virtual via Zoom
During the session, we’ll provide an overview of:
• What the Workforce Advisory Committee is
• What participation would involve
• How member feedback will help inform and strengthen services
• Honorariums and expected time commitments
• Next steps and opportunities to get involved
Participation would involve quarterly meetings and occasional opportunities to provide feedback throughout the year. Honorariums will be provided in recognition of members’ time, knowledge, and lived experience.
