We’ve seen this playbook before:
Big speeches, emotional stories, and carefully crafted narratives, but very little accountability. LIES 🤥

While leaders like Naheed Nenshi spin tales of woes, parents are left asking real questions about education, transparency, and responsibility.

Albertans are watching.

Fact-check: Amanda Chapman claims '80% of Alberta’s classrooms have a complexity rating of medium or higher' and blames the UCP for ignoring classroom complexity issues.
The truth: The UCP is delivering targeted fixes—$143 million for 476 complexity teams (one teacher + two EAs each) rolling out in high-needs schools, plus $1.8 billion in dedicated supports in Budget 2026. Data-driven action after listening to teachers.
Under the NDP (2015–2019)? Broad inclusive education policies with general funding restores and school builds, but no dedicated complexity teams, no provincewide ratings, and no specific targeted grants—leaving gaps that built up pressures.
UCP is stepping up with real solutions—NDP didn't have the specifics. Our kids deserve effective progress, not blame games. What do you think of the new teams? Comment and share!

Calgary-Beddington parents and residents,
Amanda Chapman (in a recent CTV interview) says:
"There's a reason governments don't usually wade into censorship, right?"
But look at what everyday Albertans are saying in the comments under that clip:

"Three Cheers for Premier Smith!!!"
"No wonder Carney got in. It all makes sense now."
"These books... taxpayers won't be buying this garbage... not for children's library."
"Funny how implementing all these policies was so easy, but now changing them is hard? 😂"

The message is clear: Most people support protecting kids from sexually explicit visuals in school libraries. The UCP policy (revised to focus on images/illustrations, not text) is about age-appropriate materials—common sense for families, not censorship.
Governments that prioritize children's mental well-being do step in when needed. And the response from real Albertans shows strong backing for it.
Amanda keeps opposing these safeguards. Calgary-Beddington deserves an MLA who listens to parents and puts kids first.
If you agree, sign the recall petition—link in comments!
What do you think—should schools protect kids from explicit content? Drop your thoughts below.

Residents of Hidden Valley, MacEwan, Country Hills, Huntington Hills, Beddington Heights, and Sandstone Valley (communities of Calgary-Beddington) are raising serious concerns about whether the Shadow Minister for Education, Amanda Chapman, continues to reflect the values and priorities of our riding.

Many parents and residents are troubled by:
• Support for K–12 school materials they believe are not age-appropriate
• Prioritizing special interest groups over families, seniors, children, and hardworking Albertans
• A growing disconnect between community voices and decisions made on their behalf

If you live in Calgary-Beddington and feel your concerns are not being heard, you can express your intent to sign the recall petition by filling out the form in the comments. One of our volunteers will arrange a time to bring the petition directly to you.

Thank you to everyone standing up for parents, children, and our community.
