BIG NEWS! 🚨

Flex Point Academy is officially WSIB-Approved for First Aid & CPR training!

What does this mean? This means our course now meets the standards recognized by Ontario’s Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB), making it valid for many workplace health & safety requirements across the province.

Our very first WSIB-Approved class launches on June 22nd, and registration is now open.

Whether you’re starting a new job, renewing your certification, or need approved workplace training, this course is designed to give you hands-on, recognized certification from experienced instructors.

Question: If I'm not First Aid & CPR certified as the person gets injured, am I liable?

Answer: In Canada, the Good Samaritan Act protects you when you step in to help during an emergency. As long as you’re acting in good faith and not being reckless, you are not liable for providing CPR.

You don’t need to be perfect. You just need to act.

Doing something is always better than doing nothing. ❤️

Do you still need to do mouth-to-mouth? Here’s the real answer 👇

Use rescue breaths only if you have a barrier device (like a face shield or mask).

No barrier? Only consider mouth-to-mouth if it’s someone you know (friend or family).

Otherwise, focus on strong, continuous chest compressions!
