You're invited to a nonpartisan public forum featuring political candidates running in Charlottetown district, focused on the key social issues shaping PEI’s future. This forum is designed to help voters make informed decisions before heading to the polls.

Organized by Meals on Wheels PEI, the Coalition for Women in Leadership, and the Community Sector Network of PEI, this event is open to everyone.

The Eastern PEI Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with Meals on Wheels PEI, the Community Sector Network of PEI and PEI Coalitions for Women’s Leadership are excited to bring you the 2025 Cardigan District Federal Debate.

Wednesday, April 16th, 6:00pm at the Kings Playhouse, Georgetown.

All candidates have confirmed attendance.

We are asking for the general public and business community to submit questions for all candidates. Questions can be submitted to Sandra at [email protected].

Not all questions will be guaranteed to be ask due to time limits. Deadline to submit questions is April 9th, 2025.

Another election where two parties are polling at 39% of the vote but either could win a "majority" and all the power.

A handful of voters in some swing ridings are what matter to the parties and their leaders.

At the end of the day, no matter what the outcome, some people will be relieved, others will be furious or afraid, but most people's votes are just not going to count.

We can do better. Canadians want better.

We must tell the party leaders that we want a commitment to action on proportional representation! They need to hear it - now.
