GOOOOOOD MORNING HUMBER VALLEY

We have our first sods being cut for the year, the same great team is back and we’ve got a very busy season ahead!

Soil/Turf will be in production this weekend, Sod pick up and delivery starts today 🤙🏼

If you’ve got a new home or large sod project in the works for this season please reach out so it’s on our radar 👍🏼

It’s also going to allow us to deliver soil in a new way for our area I think people will be pretty pumped about! More on that soon 👍🏼

The fields have been fertilized but still waiting for the grass to get going, hopefully temps come up soon! Unfortunately we still don’t have any turf or topsoil ready yet, I’m hoping within the next couple of weeks it should be moving.

If you’ve reached out in the last week and never got a response I’ll be working my way back through calls, I’ve been battling with a bad bug since last week but slowly coming back around now.

If you’ve spoken to me already this spring no worries you are on the list so as soon as sods get going we’ll start working our way down through it 👍🏼

Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms out there! Even this momma moose who decided to take a stroll through the fields. Still too soft by the looks of it 😂

This late start to the grow season has us over a month behind the last couple years. Hoping to have soil moving soon, grass I’m thinking late May at best but likely early June. Hopefully temps come up and the ☀️ stays out soon!

Starting to get calls wondering when we’ll be getting started. It’s going to be a while yet, still a fair bit of snow even here on the bottom of the Valley. Hopefully this ☀️ keeps up so we can get started 🤙🏼

Hope everyone is having a great Easter weekend! If you’re a sledder conditions in the upper Humber Area are fantastic ❄️

Starting to get calls about projects for this coming grow season so the job list is starting to fill out. If you have anything planned for this year particularly involving Sod but also excavation/landscaping/driveways/land clearing etc be sure to reach out 👍🏼

There’s some exciting things in the works for this spring so expect some posts about that leading into spring. Including pieces of equipment that will truly make things more efficient and improve the overall product HVSF has to offer. One in particular as an operator I’m really excited about 🤙🏼

The last couple years Dave was able to start in early May but it all depends on how the winter finishes off.

Had a great trip to ConExpo in Vegas ☀️ Got the chance to put some faces to names and kept my eye out for equipment/tech that can help HVSF.

This show is largely construction but I will be attending a landscape and agricultural show to not only look into more specific equipment but take in some classes as well. Further expanding the capabilities and quality of HVSF 👍🏼
