845pm Update- Road OPEN

BOXALDER Rd West in LaVallee twp CLOSED until further notice.

Update:

10:30pm - All units have cleared our scenes.

6:20pm - LaVallee Rittau Rd fire out, Hwy 71 Fire Hall fire out, & 615 fire is under control.

We are currently battling 3 wildfires.

One on Hwy 71 near our Chapple North Fire Hall, another on the 615, just east of the Off Lake Church, and a third on Rittau Rd in LaVallee (wrapping up now).

Along with our own crews, we have requested assistance from the MNRF, Alberton Fire, and Sioux Narrows-Nestor Falls.

Morley Fire is also battling their own wildfire.

All available resources are being requested and utilized.

Temporary Road Closurer down LaVallee Road North starting Burriss Road East to Rittau Road.
