Meet our Ag Connections 2025 Emcee, Katelyn Duban Wild Rose Farmer !

Katelyn is a first-generation female farmer in Southern Alberta, host of The Rural Woman Podcast, and a passionate advocate for women in agriculture. After marrying into a multigenerational farm in 2016, she transitioned from her “real job” to fully embrace life on the farm—growing certified organic grain and oilseeds, and learning firsthand the rewards and challenges of agriculture.

Through her podcast and online community, Katelyn shares stories of mental health, farming, and the experiences of women in the ag industry. She brings energy, insight, and a genuine connection to the rural community, making her the perfect guide for our day at Ag Connections.
