🎄 Not to alarm anyone… but Christmas is officially only FOUR MONTHS AWAY! 😳

We thought today was the perfect excuse to take a little walk down memory lane with some of our campaign posters of Christmases past. ❤️💚

Over the years, the look may have changed, but the heart behind our work has remained the same: bringing our community together to ensure our friends and neighbours can experience the joy and warmth of the holiday season through the gift of a nutritious, festive meal.

🍑 Things are looking pretty peachy around here!

Our Executive Director, Stephanie, has already stopped by Fifendekel to do some very important “research” for National Peach Pie Day. 😉🥧

Today only, $1.50 from every slice of peach pie sold at Fifendekel will be donated to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton! 💚

So grab a friend, coworker or family member, head to your nearest Fifendekel and treat yourself to a slice - or two! Every slice helps us provide festive meals for individuals, families and seniors in our community this holiday season.

Things are just peachy over here! 🍑☀️

We’re thrilled that our dear friends at Fifendekel are celebrating National Peach Pie Day on August 24 by giving back to the Christmas Bureau of Edmonton!

For every delicious slice of peach pie sold that day, $1.50 will be donated to the Christmas Bureau, helping us provide festive meals to individuals, families and seniors in our community this holiday season. 💚

So, consider this your reminder to add lunch at your nearest Fifendekel to the calendar! Grab your friends, family or coworkers, enjoy one of their incredible sandwiches and - obviously - save room for a slice of peach pie. 😋🍑🥧

A delicious summer lunch that also gives back to our community? That’s pretty sweet.

💚 What. A. Day. 💚

We’re still soaking it all in.

This afternoon, 140 incredible people ditched work with us for the inaugural Ditch Day: A Christmas in July Patio Party, presented by Five Star Holiday Decor, A MOSAIC Family Company - and what an afternoon it was.

Old friends. New friends. So many smiles. Great conversations. Amazing music. Beautiful holiday décor. And yes… lots and lots of green sunglasses. 😎🎄☀️

To everyone who came out, purchased a ticket, sponsored the event, donated, volunteered, or cheered us on from afar…

Thank you.

Thank you for believing in this brand-new event and for helping make the very first Ditch Day such an incredible success.

We’ve already seen so many amazing photos and videos being shared today, and we can’t wait to go through them all and relive the afternoon with you over the next few days.

But for tonight…

The team is heading home with full hearts (and very tired feet!).

😱 We’re officially halfway to Christmas Day!

It’s equal parts exciting… and just a little bit terrifying! 🎄

Although the holiday season may still feel a long way off, our work to prepare for it happens all year long. Reaching the halfway point is a reminder that December will be here before we know it.

There’s a lot to do between now and then, and we can’t do it without you.
