✨ We Need Your Ideas & Energy! ✨

Exciting things are happening at the Nickel Centre Seniors Club as we plan for our upcoming firehall renovations and we want you to be part of it.

We’re creating a few fun, creative committees to help shape the different spaces, and this is your chance to have a real say in how it all comes together.

We’re currently looking for volunteers to join:
🎨🍳🖼️ Combined Kitchen, Art Maker and Display Space Committee
🏋️ Gym Space Committee
🛠️ Woodworking Space Committee

Whether you have experience, a passion for one of these areas, or just some great ideas, we would love to have you involved. No expertise required, just a willingness to collaborate and be part of something positive for our community.

The Fire Hall Now Belongs to Nickel Centre Seniors Club!

After more than a year since this journey began, we’re proud to share that as of Thursday, March 19, we have officially closed the deal with the City of Greater Sudbury and now own the Falconbridge fire hall, which was previously set to close.

This milestone reflects the dedication, persistence, and collaboration that brought us to this moment. We’re excited for what lies ahead and grateful to everyone who played a part in making this happen.

Below you will find a link to a survey. This survey will help us gather everyone’s ideas on how the fire hall should be used, as well as support the development of a collaborative plan and goals for future renovations.

The second part of the survey will allow us to collect important data needed to complete our report for the Government of Ontario as part of our SALC funding grant, which supports the programs and operations of the Nickel Centre Seniors Club.
