Our brains are built for connection—and designed to grow in it.

Social pain and physical pain are similar processes in the brain—which means how we handle relationships deeply affects our well-being.

The pain we feel in relationships isn’t “just emotional”—it shares the same systems as physical pain. Here is why learning to regulate emotions matters so much.

In THRIVE Training, we practice the brain skills that build capacity, restore joy, and help us stay connected—even in hard moments.

Lasting change isn’t about trying harder. It’s about training smarter.

Grow your skills and join us at one of our in-person THRIVE Training events. Learn more at thrivetoday.org.

Join me for the upcoming Healthy Community Conference with partner ministry, Deeper Walk International, on April 25th. Learn more at deeperwalk.com.
