Monthly Commission meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 3:00 pm in the Al Robertson Room of Centre 2000. These meetings are open to the public, and the meeting allows an opportunity for questions (this is not the opportunity to address officer conduct concerns). Opportunities to present at a meeting can be arranged through the Executive Director, Lorrie Sitler at [email protected]. Over the next few years, the Commission will be working with the Chief of Police to transition the City of Grande Prairie policing model from RCMP to the municipal service. At this time, the RCMP are the police of jurisdiction for the City of Grande Prairie.
