❄️ Winter Safety Reminder ❄️

As winter weather continues — and with a cold snap on the way — please remember to give snowplows plenty of extra room. Our operators are out keeping roads safe, and allowing them space helps everyone get where they’re going safely.

Give yourself extra time when travelling, slow down, and adjust your driving for winter conditions.

With colder temperatures ahead, make sure you’re dressed for the weather and prepared for the unexpected. If you’re heading out, consider keeping an emergency kit in your vehicle with items like a blanket, warm clothing, flashlight, snacks, and a charged phone.

A little preparation goes a long way in keeping you and others safe this winter.

Led by Craig and Maggie Thompson, students will be given an introduction to Jazz improvisation and an overview of the History of Jazz. The Thompson's have extensive experience and we can't wait for them to join us here in Haliburton.
