🚧 HIGHWAY 417 CONSTRUCTION – BARB ROAD & HIGHWAY 17 🚧

📢 Notice to residents and motorists

The Ministry of Transportation has awarded Louis W. Bray Construction Limited a two-year contract for construction work along Highway 417.

📅 Construction begins: Around August 17, 2026
📅 Project completion: November 30, 2027
❄️ Construction will be suspended for the winter season around November 30, 2026, and will resume in 2027.

🚗 What concerns our area most: BARB ROAD & HIGHWAY 17

As part of this project, closures are planned at the Highway 417 ramps at Barb Road and Highway 17.

In addition:
• One lane will be closed in both the eastbound and westbound directions during the project.
• The Barb Road and Highway 17 ramps may be closed at certain times as construction progresses.
• Advance notice will be provided before ramp closures take place.

The work includes minor asphalt repairs, concrete pavement resurfacing, and pavement marking along the project area.

⚠️ Please allow extra time for your travels and pay close attention to construction signs and traffic changes, especially around Barb Road and Highway 17.

🚧 TRAVAUX SUR L’AUTOROUTE 417 – BARB ROAD 🚧

📢 Avis aux résidents et aux automobilistes

Le ministère des Transports a confié à Louis W. Bray Construction Limited des travaux de construction sur l’autoroute 417. Le projet s’étend sur plusieurs kilomètres et se déroulera sur une période de deux ans.

📅 Début des travaux : vers le 17 août 2026
📅 Fin prévue : 30 novembre 2027
❄️ Les travaux seront suspendus pour la saison hivernale à partir d’environ 30 novembre 2026.

Ce qui nous concerne particulièrement : BARB ROAD

Dans le cadre du projet, des fermetures de la bretelle de Barb Road sont prévues.

De plus :
• Une voie sera fermée dans les directions est et ouest de l’autoroute 417 pendant la durée du projet.
• Les fermetures de la bretelle de Barb Road ne seront pas nécessairement en vigueur en tout temps.
• Une notification préalable sera publiée avant chaque fermeture de la bretelle afin d’informer les automobilistes.

Les travaux comprennent notamment des réparations d’asphalte, le resurfaçage de la chaussée en béton et le marquage de la chaussée.

⚠️ Nous vous recommandons donc de prévoir plus de temps pour vos déplacements et de porter une attention particulière à la signalisation dans le secteur de Barb Road et de l’autoroute 417.
