School is back in session! Registration is now open for our Children and Family Services Department's new School Food Program Subsidy.

This $400 subsidy supports every child aged 4 to 18 with Otipemisiwak Métis Government citizenship. With this support, families can purchase nutritious groceries, lunch supplies, and culturally relevant foods that support learning, health, and Métis identity.

Our Frosty Reels Camps are back this February at Camp Maskepetoon, Pigeon Lake. Bundle up for an unforgettable on-ice adventure, reeling in fish and making family memories in a Métis community setting.

Selected families will be notified. Spots are limited and filled first-come, first-served!

To be eligible, families must be Alberta residents, include at least one Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizen, and have at least one attending child aged 17 or younger.

The Otipemisiwak Métis Government’s Children and Family Services Department invites applications for the Connecting Through Culture Family Retreat – Winter 2026, February 6–8, 2026, at Métis Crossing.

Overnight accommodations and meals will be provided throughout the gathering for approved participants.

Eligibility:
- Applicants must be Alberta residents.
- At least one family member must be an Otipemisiwak Métis Government Citizen.
- At least one child must be aged 17 or younger.

Spots are limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
