The day our members work so hard toward all year has come to an end, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day filled with sunshine, smiles, and success.
Our Achievement Day began with the Female Show, followed by the Cleaver Show. After lunch, members competed in Steer Conformation before wrapping up the day with Showmanship. Congratulations to all of our participants and award winners! Your dedication, hard work, and commitment to your projects were evident throughout the day.
Our club would like to thank the Innisfail Auction Market for all they contribute to our success.
Stay tuned to our page for a complete breakdown of award winners following our Awards Evening on June 17.
As part of the sale, our members once again kicked things off by sharing their Year in Review, highlighting the many accomplishments, experiences, and lessons learned throughout the 4-H year.
We then moved into our Charity Steer Auction in support of Ronald McDonald House Charities. Ronald McDonald House Our goal was ambitious: raise $20,000, with $15,000 being donated to Ronald McDonald House and $5,000 retained to sustain our Charity Steer Program for future years.
We’re thrilled to share that we achieved our goal!
It was a privilege to welcome Chelsea from Ronald McDonald House and present a cheque on behalf of our members, families, buyers, bidders, and supporters.
We cannot adequately express our gratitude to the businesses, buyers, volunteers, sponsors, families, and community members who continue to invest in our youth. Your support allows these young people to grow as leaders, develop valuable life skills, and proudly represent agriculture in our community.
Thank you for believing in our members. Your support makes all of this possible.
