Thank you so much to the gentleman that brought Dave into Project Take Flight! Dave was found very weak and dehydrated but with no visible injuries. After lots of fluids and some medication he is starting to feel better. Fingers crossed that he will be able to go to the flight cage soon!

Every year over 100,000 animals die due to plastic pollution :( this little man has gotten a second chance thanks to the wonderful family that brought him to the Invermere Veterinary Hospital! Please be aware of the plastic you are using and what comes of that plastic after you are done with it!

Hobo has finally been released!! After a little over 5 months she is finally able to fly free! This is why all of us at Project Take Flight love what we do. No better feeling than being able to release a bird back to the wild!

WIN ME! We will be raffling off this wonderful print “Mid Flight” by Wendy Chambers Ballots are available at the Invermere Veterinary Hospital for a minimum 2$ donation per ballot! We are starting to see all sorts of different animals this summer. Here is Emily the turtle. As you can see she ate a fish hook that probably had something very yummy on the end:) After 2 days at the clinic she successfully passed it on her own and has been successfully release to find a safe place to hatch all those eggs!

A lot of people may not realize but we do a lot more than just Raptor! Here is our latest rescue Scrat the squirrel. He was found in Radium where his mom had been killed. He was still a bit to small to be on his own but is doing wonderful now and is almost ready to be released!!
