In this day and age, so much of our food comes from processed plants where animals are fed a mulch of lord knows what, starting with antibiotics and steroids. Not to mention the inhumane way they are slaughtered. Most animals are genetically altered so that they have quick growth and often weak or sick when it comes to butchering. I don't know about you, but I'm sure sick and tired of buying tasteless meats, fruits and vegetables from a store that is only out to get your money.
