Good evening,

The CNCGA - marine search and rescue team in Kyuquot has been stood down for the next 3 weeks.

Recently it has been a struggle getting a crew together to be on call or to respond to situations when called upon. The Aktis Warrior is to remain alongside the dock for the time being.

The Joint Rescue Coordination Center is being notified our crew is unable to respond.

The Coastal Nations Coast Guard Auxiliary has made this difficult decision based upon operational procedures.
