Please excuse the temporary mess and inconvenience over the next few days as work continues on yet another important improvement project here at Royal Canadian Legion Branch 85/90. 🇨🇦
For many, many years, our primary member entrance suffered from neglect, deterioration, rot, and ongoing wear that simply could no longer be ignored. Rather than continuing to patch problems temporarily, we made a promise to our members that we would begin properly restoring, repairing, and rebuilding this Legion the right way — with pride, quality, and long-term vision.
That work continues now.
Thanks to the incredible hard work and dedication of Gary Morrison, we are replacing damaged back entrance areas properly, removing rotted materials, pouring new concrete, and installing new carpeting so that the entrance our amazing members use every single day finally reflects the pride, care, and respect this branch deserves.
This is not just construction.
This is restoration.
This is pride being rebuilt.
This is your Legion continuing to rise stronger and stronger every week. 🔥
We know temporary inconveniences can sometimes be frustrating, but every improvement being made today is helping build a better, safer, warmer, and more welcoming Branch 85/90 for tomorrow.
Please note that the rear entrance will be temporarily unavailable until Sunday, and all entry will take place through the front entrance during this time.
Thank you once again to all of our members for your patience, support, encouragement, and belief in everything we are accomplishing together. Seeing this Legion slowly return to the loved and respected condition it always deserved means more to us than words can express.
And honestly…
it just keeps getting better and better. ❤️
