🧡 Truth and Reconciliation Day at Souvenir Elementary 🧡

Yesterday, our school community came together for a meaningful Orange Shirt Day assembly to honour the children who never returned home, remember Survivors of residential schools, and recognize the importance of truth, reconciliation, and learning.

Thank you to our students and staff for participating with such thoughtfulness, respect, and compassion. 🧡

As our grade 6’s exited the building one last time, they got to walk past all the classes and teachers they had, all the way down to Pre-K! As the younger students cheered them on, they proudly marched past all the touching memories and faces they knew and loved for 7 years. Now on to high school they go!!
Happy Summer to all our Souvenir Skyhawks!
