*******PLEASE SHARE*******

I’m making a public commitment to the voters of our great town of Leamington.

If elected, I will hold Quarterly Community Round Tables—an opportunity for residents to stay informed, ask questions, share ideas, and have a safe and respectful space to raise concerns or grievances they may be experiencing in our community.

I believe being elected means more than attending council meetings. It means listening to the people we represent, staying connected to our community, and being accountable to the residents who put their trust in us.

These quarterly meetings will be about open communication, transparency, and making sure residents have a voice.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to listen, ask questions, share your concerns, and engage in this election.

Together, we can continue working toward a stronger Leamington.

The speech I provided at the Roma Club last night for those who attended the mayoral debate put on by the Leamington Chamber. Was a packed house with lots of information for the voters of Leamington. Thank you Dave Cassidy for taking the video.

Today is a day to pause, listen, reflect and remember.

I had planned to participate in today’s Truth and Reconciliation activities, but unfortunately, I’ve thrown my back out and wasn’t physically able to attend. I’m truly disappointed that I couldn’t be there in person.

But being part of our community means more than simply showing up for an event. It means being willing to listen, learn, acknowledge our history and have the difficult conversations that help us move forward.

As someone putting my name forward to serve our community, I believe leadership starts with listening — listening to residents, listening to those whose voices have historically been overlooked, and being willing to learn from the experiences of others.

Truth and Reconciliation is not a one-day commitment. It is an ongoing responsibility.

I may not have been able to stand there with our community today, but I stand with the importance of remembering, learning and building a community where respect, understanding and inclusion are part of how we move forward together.

We remember. We listen. We learn. And we keep moving forward.
