On behalf of all of us at LLSAR, we are holding Tumbler Ridge Search and Rescue and the entire Tumbler Ridge community in our thoughts during this heartbreaking time.

We know the strength, dedication, and heart it takes to serve in SAR, and we also know how deeply connected our teams and communities are. Please know that you are not alone — we stand with you in solidarity, support, and compassion.

I hate having to post this…. The Logan lake search and rescue has had another attempt at theft from our property in the public works yard.

Some of you may have heard late summer someone drilled into the bus fuel tank stealing fuel (was seen on camera) caused fairly expensive damage to tank.

Today I found someone has tried to drill the lock on the door of our new snowmobile trailer.

We are a non profit society, damages like this hit us hard.

We train hard, to be ready when the public needs us. Finding our equipment damaged will delay us in rescuing people.

If anyone knows anything, hears anything please let us or the rcmp know.
