Need a bicycle as your primary transportation for school or work? We are here to help!

On June 1st, we welcome all London residents needing a bike to get ahead to apply for our annual giveaway. 🎓💼

Here’s how it works:
1️⃣ Apply Online: On June 1st, visit bigbikegiveaway.ca and click the registration button.
2️⃣ Tell Us Your Needs: Answer a few quick questions so we can prepare the best possible bike fit for you.
3️⃣ Wait for Contact: If we have a matching bike, you will receive an email or call between June and August with a specific date, time, and location to pick up your new ride.

Advocate Connections is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Case Management Social Worker Advocate to join our team in London, ON. This is a Government of Canada funded this job through the Canada Summer Jobs program, a great opportunity for students.

Location: 785 Dundas Street, London, ON
Role Focus: Supporting individuals by connecting them to vital services, advocating for equitable care, and empowering them toward stability and independence.

What you’ll do:
• Conduct client assessments and build personalized support plans
• Connect clients with housing, healthcare, employment, and community resources
• Advocate on behalf of clients with service providers and agencies
• Provide crisis support and ongoing case management
• Create a safe, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment

We’re looking for someone who is:
✔ Compassionate and empathetic
✔ A strong communicator and active listener
✔ Skilled in problem-solving and organization
✔ Knowledgeable about social services and community resources
✔ Committed to a person-centered approach

The Age Friendly London and Child & Youth Networks are hosting free tax clinics for Londoners with modest incomes and simple tax situations.

On Thursday, April 9, the tax clinic at Stronach Community Centre will also include a Financial Supports and Services Fair.

You’ll have the opportunity to connect with community organizations, government services, employment support, credit services, and financial institutions offering information and support on a range of financial topics.
