Enjoy your me time whenever possible *within reason* and don't feel guilty about it.
It's okay to cry and scream or curse when it's overwhelming, *just not in front of the kids*.
Avoid triggers that remind you of *bad times*. DON'T live in the past...
Take care of your appearance and don't go out in public without doing your best to look presentable, you are not just YOU anymore you are an example to your kids now.
Watch your appetite, DEPRESSION IS REAL!, but you can control your eating habits. A treat now and then is ok, but don't make it EVERYDAY or EVERY MEAL.
Don't give yourself away to ANYONE just because they are nice to you, you are STILL worth MUCH MORE than that.
Always try to improve yourself everyday, learn something new.
Admit your mistakes WITHOUT excuses and grow from them.
Enjoy cartoons and playtime, if you don't you will make your kids miserable and your life WILL suck.
KEEP a clean home/bedroom/car/trailer, whatever you got.
Bath yourself EVERYDAY, *seriously that's disgusting*
Don't be disgusting!
Don't complain *this is REAL* DON'T COMPLAIN!. I know this isn't what or how you wanted your life to turn out but this is how it is. Your kid(s) love/need/want you around BE GRATEFUL.
Even if your job sucks be the best employee there. You never know where you will find your next opportunity.
Be friendly and kind whenever possible.
Tell your kids that you love them as often as you can.
Do not talk bad about their father/mother. If you have nothing good to say then say nothing.
Do not use your child as a weapon to hurt the other person.
Watch your mouth, and your actions *your kids are watching and listening they will emulate EVERY STUPID THING YOU DO!
Pray everyday, some of you have no idea what this can do for you.
