So let's get one thing straight, isn't just good for Sackville it's possibly the best pizza spot in Nova Scotia. We walk in, and it's packed, barely a seat in the house. The folks working aren't stressing anything, even though they opened 4 days ago and have been hit by a line drive of Sackvilles' finest since the doors opened.

We are told that there would be a wait to receive food but not more than 15 minutes after being seated. we are staring down apertizers, an ice cold Birra Moretti, and an Aperol Spritz. Yes, a good Aperol Spritz in Sackville!!

The atmosphere and food remind me of being at a restaurant in Italy.

We sit with a view of the woodfired oven and watch the person working it put on an absolute clinic while simultaneously entertaining the full bar surrounding them

Our waitress is a real pro. Friendly, professional, and informative.

It's a special spot, way ahead of its time for Sackville.

Looking forward to running it back

ColleMassari Montecucco Rosso Riserva DOC 2018 at .com

ColleMassari was founded with the acquisition of ColleMassari Castle and surrounding vineyards by the brother and sister team of Claudio Tipa and Maria Iris Bertarelli in 1999. Today, ColleMassari is the benchmark for quality wine in Montecucco.

Montecucco is located directly between more commonly known areas of Montalcino and Morellino di Scansano. It's slightly warmer and drier than Montalcino and doesn't have the salinity and heat of Scansano.

ColleMassari Montecucco Rosso Riserva is the signature wine of Castello ColleMassari. Predominantly Sangiovese with small amounts of Cabernet and Ciliegiolo.

Dark cherry, vanilla, chocolate, and a spicey note on the nose entice you to see what the wine offers on your palate. The texture is like silk. The fruit carries over and is met with minerals and just the right amount of acidity. A lingering luchious finish will keep you going back to your glass. It was one of the most memorable wines I've had in some time. At $32, this competes with Sangiovese at 3 times the price from their neighboring DO.

I love Lambrusco! About a year ago I started out on a mission to bring Nova Scotia the best of the best at an affordable price point. Mission accomplished.

I am positive you'll fall in love with this wine the same way I have.

Cabernet, Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot for the Niagara Peninsula in Ontario.

Blackberry, plum, vanilla,and graphite notes carry over from the nose to the palate. Easy drinking dark fruit with a touch of sweetness compliments subtle minerals and earthy notes.
