Tomorrow it begins again. 🛹

Headed to the Airbnb tonight and getting ready to kick off another year of community, progression, creativity, chaos, friendship, and all the adventure that skateboarding is.

The Ontario International Freestyle Expo goes down tomorrow at CJ’s Skatepark from 10AM–5PM - free entry.

P.s. Still making nametags out of t-shirts like kids before a field trip. 😂

Only difference now is the dream got bigger.

Excited to reconnect with old friends, meet new faces, and keep pushing forward together. Let’s make some memories. See you tomorrow, Ontario 🤘

Parks | A design for the Clarence Bird Park multi-use court has been selected! ⛹️🛹

Thank you to everyone who shared feedback through our survey and public consultation centres. The results were very close, with strong support for pickleball, basketball and a skate/scooter area.

The selected configuration brings all three together, creating a flexible space that best meets the needs of the community. Please note that the image below shows the layout of each activity, and final features may vary.

The court could also serve as a community-run ice rink in the winter. Those interested in being part of a volunteer group to help maintain the ice can learn more here: https://www.belleville.ca/en/learn-and-play/parkland-natural-ice-rink-program.aspx
