Group of Seven Lake Superior Trail A hiking trail from Pukaskwa National Park to Neys Provincial Park to celebrate the beauty of Lake Superior shown through the paintings of the Group of Seven.

This project is being developed in partnership by Biigtigong Nishnaabeg and the Town of Marathon by the Group of Seven Lake Superior Trail Association. This project allows fellow Canadians and visitors to explore our Canadian identify through the iconic painting locations of the Group of Seven who painted in the area over 100 years ago.

We recently installed our Group of Seven interpretive display in the Marathon & District Historical Society Museum. This project was funded in part by Superior North CFDC with assistance from Town of Marathon & Recreation and the Lawren Harris Inventory Project.

We'd like to send a big thank you to everyone who attended on Saturday evening. Thank you to everyone who donated items to our silent auction. Our volunteers who are amazing - couldn't do this without you!
