I’m ready to keep fighting as Shadow Minister for Labour.

Canada’s workers deserve policies that reward hard work, support good jobs, and help build a stronger workforce in every region of the country.

I’ll keep working with workers, unions, employers, and industry to stand up for the people who build, move, power, and feed this country.

Congratulations to my colleagues joining Shadow Cabinet. I know they’ll do an outstanding job holding the Liberals to account and offering Canadians a better alternative.

I want to personally thank newly elected Conservative MPs Helena Konanz, Burton Bailey, and Dr. Matt Strauss for their relentless hard work on the health committee this session.

Because of our Conservative team on the health committee, we:

Ordered the production of two PBO reports revealing the Interim Federal Health Program will cost over $1.5 BILLION a year, while 74,000 rejected asylum claimants remain eligible for taxpayer-funded luxury health benefits.

Exposed how the Public Health Agency of Canada lost $20 MILLION in pharmaceuticals after a freezer door was left open, then tried to keep it from the public.

Fought Liberal obstruction to expose the $300 MILLION PrescribeIT scandal.

Revealed the corruption at Canada Health Infoway, called for the Liberals to defund the organization entirely, and forced it to hand over hundreds of thousands of pages of documents.

Secured the secret Grifols agreement while exposing how a foreign drugmaker was profiting from Canadian blood donations without donors knowing.

Uncovered that over a thousand Saudi-funded visa trainees are training in Canadian hospitals while Canadians are told there are no residency spots.

Exposed how Liberals are using Canadian tax dollars to purchase crack pipes and fund opioid vending machines.

Very proud of this team as we head into the summer.

Door knocking is the best way to engage our neighbours where they are. Come help me learn the community concerns I need to take back to Ottawa!
