As part of Ambulance New Brunswick’s Critical Care team, Arthur helps provide critical care transport for patients across the province by air and ground alongside Flight Nurses. 🚑💙
Over more than 15 years in paramedicine, he has worked in frontline care, education, leadership, and critical care transport, supporting both patients and fellow paramedics across New Brunswick.
“I was drawn to paramedicine because it is a relatively young profession with tremendous potential for growth,” says Arthur. “As a young adult, I made the rewarding decision to dedicate myself to a field that has continuously challenged and inspired me.”
For Arthur, the profession is grounded in service and teamwork, with impact that reaches far beyond a single call.
“The most rewarding part of the job is seeing the impact we can make with persistence and dedication,” he says. “It can come from direct patient care, but it can also come from sharing knowledge or experiences with peers, helping each other to become better together.”
Ultimately, he says, the motivation for entering the profession should come from a place of service.
“Don’t do it to be a hero. Do it to serve strangers on their worst days with competence, compassion, and quiet humility.”
Thank you, Arthur, for your dedication, leadership, and compassion in service to New Brunswickers. 🚑✨
