I am Parker's uncle, and with the blessing of Parker's parents, I am organizing this official fundraiser on behalf of our family. Throughout Parker's search, we were overwhelmed by the kindness, generosity, and compassion shown by our community. Since then, so many people have reached out asking how they can continue to help. This page is our family's way of providing that opportunity.
In the wake of the heartbreaking loss of their beloved son, Parker, the Wells family is facing a grief no family should ever have to endure.
Throughout the search for Parker and in the difficult days since, our family has been surrounded by an extraordinary outpouring of love, compassion, and support. So many people have reached out asking the same question: “How can we help?”
Asking for help does not come naturally to our family, and right now, it is difficult to know what they will need in the days, weeks, and months ahead. This GoFundMe has been created simply to give friends, neighbours, and members of the wider community a way to offer practical support during a time when there are no easy answers.
Donations will help ease the financial burden our family is facing, including funeral and memorial expenses, travel, lost income, counseling, and the many unexpected costs that have come with this unimaginable journey. Any support allows our family to focus on grieving, healing, and being together during this time.
There is absolutely no expectation to contribute financially. The kindness already shown to our family in messages, searching, sharing, meals, prayers, and simply showing up has meant more than words can express.
For those who have been asking for a tangible way to help, this fund is one way to do so.

A contribution to one of these organizations is every bit as meaningful. Supporting work that strengthens, includes, and advocates for autistic people and their families is a beautiful way to honour Parker and extend the compassion this community has shown throughout his story.

Between Friends
An organization that provides quality social, recreation, and development opportunities so that people with disabilities can connect, grow, and belong. One such program is Camp Bonaventure, which Parker has attended.
Renfrew Educational Services
A registered Canadian charity and designated Special Education School that welcomes families and children with significant disabilities. Parker attended Renfrew for pre-school and kindergarten.
Autism Calgary
An association of individuals and families living with autism, striving to assist each other and the broader community, so that Autistic individuals and their families live meaningful and purposeful lives in a community that values them.
