The Canada Day rain couldn't keep us down for long! The field is drying out, and we have officially rebooked our Movie in the Park night. Mark your calendars because you won't want to miss this awesome double feature!
📅 When: Wednesday, July 22, 2026
📍 Where: Rotary Athletic Park (3901 - 70 Avenue)
🎟️ Cost: FREE admission!

Here is the schedule for the evening:
6:00 PM – The GOAT (Big thanks to our movie sponsor, Hildebrand Motors!)
8:00 PM – The Little Rascals (Big thanks to our movie sponsor, Olds Community Pharmacy)

Come Hungry! The Kiwanis Club of Olds will be on-site serving up FREE hot dogs! They will also have a full concession running with all your favorite movie snacks available for purchase. All proceeds from the concession go directly to the Kiwanis Club to help them continue their amazing work in our community.

Pack up your lawn chairs, grab your coziest blankets, and bring the whole family down for a great night of films and food.

What an incredible Canada Day in Olds! ❤️🇨🇦

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing volunteers, the Canada Day Committee, sponsors, community partners, and everyone who helped make this celebration possible. Events like this truly take a village, and our community showed up in the best way possible!

From the spectacular Kick-Off Fireworks, to an incredible parade showcasing our local businesses and community organizations, to an afternoon at the Sportsplex filled with the Vendor Market, delicious food trucks, bounce houses, the SuperDogs, and so much more, it was a day full of community spirit, laughter, and celebration.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate with us and make Canada Day 2026 one to remember.

CANCELLED MOVIE
We are so sorry that we have to do this… but with all the rain the Rotary Park field is too wet for the truck to come for movie in the park

This event along with the Kiwanis club hot dogs will be rescheduled for a later date

We are as sad as you and can’t wait to see you later in the summer.

🎆 Kick-Off Fireworks! (Tuesday, June 30)
The Kick-off to Canada Day Fireworks are scheduled for tonight at 11:00 PM!

Rotary Athletic Park -3901 70 Avenue ( North of Walmart)

So far- the weather looks great.

Please note that this event is weather dependent. We will make the official call closer to showtime based on wind and visibility—stay tuned for updates!
