Dandelion Early Learning and Childcare Centre (formerly known as the NB Military Family Resource Centre, Childcare Services) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting military children and their families located at CFB Gagetown since 1992.

Unfortunately, at 7:25 this morning our centre lost power.

Due to provincial regulations, we are unable to remain open past the 1 hour mark without power.

Phone calls are being made currently. Please note we will not be open for after school care.

The Youth Centre will also be closed.

We apologize for the inconvenience this causes!

Did you know the official flower of the Military child is a Dandelion?

Dandelions symbolize resilience, strength and adaptability. They're a flower that represent the ability to bloom anywhere the wind blows. Much like Military children, dandelions don't have a choice where they land, but they put down their roots and grow with determination regardless.

Our kids are tough, but it's our goal as an Early Learning Centre to offer a safe landing for these children and their families so they can thrive and put down roots, no matter where the wind will take them next.

We chose the name Dandelion ELCC to continue to honour the strength and spirit of the Military children we serve as we move forward together into this new chapter.
